The Swansboro Rotary King Bluewater Fishing Tournament saw a 645.5 blue marlin come to the scales brought in by Captain Adrian Holler on “Sea Striker”. The Sea Striker crew took first place and a payday of $31,063. The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament payout of $746,820 went to “Sea Creature” captained by Steve Coulter from Hatteras for Bobby Week’s 466 blue marlin. There has been a lot fishing excitement along the Crystal Coast and it continues with a load of charter boats coming back to the waterfront flying their release flags. Now is a great time to book a charter and head offshore… go ahead and call one of the charter boats listed on the “charter boat row” page.
