Welcome Ya’ll We'd like to welcome everyone to the first edition of the Calcutta Wahoo Challenge eNewsletter. You can look forward to tournament updates, local news and monthly fishing reports. We hope you'll join us April 19-21 on the Morehead City Waterfront for fun, fishing & fund raising! Love Them Sponsors! The CWC would be remiss not to mention the contributions of our Title, National and Jolly Roger Sponsors. Calcutta took the lead with this tournament and have been the driving force since inception. Wachovia has been onboard from the very beginning and stand behind their commitment to the communities in which they serve. Randy Bryant Builders once again stepped up to the plate with tremendous support. Thanks so much for all you do!  Giving Is So Much Fun! Our two wonderful charities, Take a Kid Fishing, Inc. and Hospice of Carteret County, were pleased to be the recipients of $80,000 for 2006! Kudos to the volunteers from each organization who worked tirelessly at both events. Wahooooo....It’s The Fishing Report!  In the vicinity of the Big Rock, charter boats are reporting good catches of wahoo, yellowfin & blackfin tuna, mahi-mahi and king mackerel with a few amberjack in the mix. Looks like we're gonna have great Spring fishing here on the Crystal Coast! |
